Lambda Legal published two reports using two separate surveys conducted by Strength in Numbers Consulting Group. The first, When Health Care Isn’t Caring, documented discrimination in health care against LGBTQ people and people with HIV and AIDS (PLWHA) and the second, Protected and Served documented government misconduct against LGBTQ and people living with HIV/AIDS. These reports are widely cited in Lambda’s work and training and have been used by scholars and activists in research and policy change efforts.
