New York City Commission on Human Rights

The New York City Commission on Human Rights was concerned about increasing reports of discrimination, bias harassment and hate crimes among Muslim, Arab, South Asian, Jewish and Sikh communities in New York City in 2016 and 2017. They commissioned Strength in Numbers to conduct 14 focus groups and design a survey to describe and quantify the problem to better serve these communities and prevent discriminatory and hate-motivated violence and harassment.
